Pharma laboratory

A pharmaceutical laboratory is a laboratory in which pharmaceutical work is carried out.

In the pharmaceutical sector, the Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) guidelines for quality assurance of production play a central role. The implementation of GMP is governed by the German Drug and Active Ingredient Production Regulation (AMWHV), the basis of which is the German Medicines Act (AMG).
